Reviewed by Mayra David
4 Stars
There have been women throughout history who have been celebrated as much as they have been reviled. Some have been queens, some revolutionaries, some even saints. And many have been courtesans. The year is 1815. London's rich and aristocratic men have been in an aroused state since the arrival of Ria, an incredibly sensual but elusive woman; a prize courtesan. Monday's Guest Author - Jasmine Haynes
Where do Writer's Get Their Ideas?
Romance author Jasmine Haynes writes under three different names and writes three different romantic sub-genres. So if you’re in the mood for romantic suspense or romantic comedy or erotic romance you might want to try Jennifer Skully, JB Skully or Jasmine Haynes. Today Jasmine tells us where she gets the ideas for her books. Jasmine says: "People often ask me how I get my ideas. I think most writers hear that question. And the answer is, they come from absolutely everywhere. I’m never bored standing in line at the grocery store or waiting in the dentist’s office because I watch and listen." Book Review: In Bed with the Devil by Lorraine Heath
Reviewed by Andrea Williamson
4.75 Stars
In Bed with the Devil is a beautiful redemption story. It is darker and grittier than any of Ms. Heath's previous books, but it needs to be to fit the feel of the story. I must say that I was captivated by the secondary characters--Winnie and the rest of Feagan's lads--and wonder which of them will be featured in the next book in this series. This book is another keeper from Lorraine Heath that I highly recommend! (Click here to join the discussion.)
NEWS and some Opinions...
Reality TV School
Yes, in the land of the free and home of the brave you can become anything and you can make money at it. It was just a matter of time before someone created a school to teach you how to be a reality TV star. I've provided the link above, but here's their mission in brief; "to pioneer the development of reality TV training in order for professionals and beginners to take their place as exciting confident, and vibrant real people on any reality TV show.
Where do I begin?!? Train professionals and beginners. You mean there's such a thing as a professional reality TV star? But let's break it down further. Create 'vibrant real people'? Okay. Please. Explain. How does a school of this nature teach you to become a real person? Forgive me, I thought you were a real person just by living and experiencing life? ITYF (please see word of the week) if you're thinking about going to this school, you probably need to be living life a bit more.I most certainly have lots to say on this subject, including my pitch for how to become the top TV watching Reality TV Star and stake your claim among the famous. Stay tuned for my blog and pitch this weekend.

The Bodyguard (1992)
Whitney Houston plays a star. Someone's stalking her. She needs a bodyguard, hence the title, and enter Kevin Costner... This was before Whitney got into drugs and her career took a nose dive. It's worth the watch, including the popcorn, and you get to hear the song "I Will Always Love You."
